Christmas Kiss Sugar Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup Christmas sprinkles

Method
 

  1. Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees F and grabbing your ingredients. You are going to want an electric mixer with a medium sized bowl and a parchment lined baking sheet.
  2. In your electric mixer bowl, combine the butter and brown sugar, mix well until creamed together. Next, add in the egg.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking powder and then gradually add this to the wet mixture on medium speed until well combined.
  4. Fold in your sprinkles.
  5. Scoop out 2 tbsp sized balls of cookie dough and spread 8-10 evenly on your baking tray. Press the balls of dough down slightly with the bottom of a glass cup, they will still spread slightly.
  6. Bake for 11-12 minutes. Remove from oven and press the hershey kiss in to the center of the cookie. Allow these to cool completely and enjoy!
